Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
We use this as our primary payroll system. It is used in a large part of our organization and it is currently being implemented throughout all of our locations. This includes North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
Pros
- The reporting is flexible and easy to create with preformed topics to get the information you need
- There is online help to follow which is informative when trying to learn how to use the application.
- Problems can be added to online ticket system and tracked with the support staff responding quickly via a phone call for or email depending on the severity.
Cons
- New reports at the end of the year are a normal occurrence when doing new implementations. There needs to be more flexibility to get these done in the time required. Development should be available all year.
- The removal of Silverlight needs to be replaced quicker for a better browser experience.
- From an analyst position, my experience is mostly with reporting data. The reporting tool is very helpful and the Topic Builder makes creating reports easy. It saves me time.
From a reporting standpoint, I am able to run reports for compensation and get accurate data on salary and other benefits. This helps managers view data to make decisions on employee compensation.
From a reporting standpoint, my job is much easier to get all the salary, benefits, and other data to accurately reproduce an employee's total compensation. This helps our management staff make more accurate decisions in this area.
