Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
Ceridian Dayforce is being used by our entire organization that encompasses 1200 employees in 18 locations over a 120 mile long service area. Dayforce allows us to house all of our HR and payroll processes to include recruiting, onboarding, payroll, benefits, time, and performance within one application. Dayforce allows our organization to be virtually paperless.
- Dayforce offers continuous pay calculations, with real-time data at any given point.
- All Dayforce data is housed in one location, with simple workflows and no need for integrations.
- Dayforce has a great mobile platform.
- Currently, the Dayforce Compensation module only works with the primary job, and therefore doesn't yet meet our needs.
- The recruiting module doesn't have a way to schedule interviews with candidates.
- Incompatibility with Microsoft Silverlight.
- Payroll processes have been shortened from end user all the way to the top payroll administrator.
- Supervisors can see employee data on the computer or on their mobile device and don't have to dig through paper files.
- Time saved in tracking and viewing employee certifications.
Ceridian Dayforce gives us peace of mind with the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA), especially with overtime calculations and hour limitations when we have minors working for us. The Affordable Care Act (ACA) rules are captured within Dayforce - so important with our multiple-site employees who are variable hour employees. 1095s are also automatically processed within Dayforce.
Ceridian Dayforce, especially the recruiting module has decreased our hiring time. Supervisors can view all applications and scan on one page. We can now communicate with applicants via email to push out messages regarding the interviewing/hiring process. Scheduling employees within Dayforce has taken away excel spreadsheets and sticky notes from our supervisor's offices and allows them to see true labor costs as they are building their schedules.
The biggest impact is overall time savings. Since there are no interfaces, payroll changes are processed in real time. Our payroll adminstrator can receive a last minute change right before payroll is due to be submitted and can make the change, save and then refresh and payroll is ready to submit.
