Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

[It's being used] Across the whole organization - mainly HR, Benefits, Payroll, and WFM. We were on an old Ceridian product and this updated our process and centralized it into one system. Looking to add additional modules eventually.
  • I like that the timesheets are directly connected to payroll. In all other systems we reviewed, there was still an import, even though it was all one system.
  • I like the possibilities of moving forward. We struggle as an organization to accept change, but I like that we have many possibilities if we can get the right people on board.
  • I like that I can maintain the system setup without having to call support for every single change we want to make.
  • I would like to see sections of trainings that are outside the box. The helpful hints and best practices. The system is so vast, we have no way of knowing if there is a better way of doing things. And if there are options we aren't currently using, we don't know what we don't know.
  • I would like to see the training information easier to access. I hate to have to pay for an additional membership because I want my manager to be able to keep up with payroll as my backup.
  • I have not evaluated this personally at my organization. However, from a WFM & payroll standpoint, I feel that the process is very efficient, much more so than the previous system.
We built our policies to work with our union contract and policies. We have somewhat complicated rounding rules for different groups within the organization. We're able to make required documentation available at the time it is required. For example, 401(k) documents are attached to the 401(k) enrollment form.
We reviewed UltiPro at the same time and didn't like it as well as Dayforce. We were with Ceridian HPW before and this is a great improvement.
Some of our managers have a hard time accepting technological advances. It's hard for me to answer for a lot of the system.
