Overall Satisfaction with Cisco 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers (ASR 9000)

We use the Cisco 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers, 9901 as an access edge device. It on boards customer circuits in the Data Centre and forwards customer traffic via BGP to our core, or EVPN to another endpoint as an EPL or EVPL circuit.
  • Handles customer L3 termination
  • Ease of configuration
  • Ease of upgrade and maintenance
  • Removal of certain BGP commands, especially related to IPv6 that are depreciated and simply error when attempted. Perhaps have them operate like the new standard.
  • Resource limits as a bng
  • Cisco 5000 Series Enterprise Network Compute System (ENCS 5000)
