Overall Satisfaction with Cisco HyperFlex

We were looking to replace older virtual servers and needed a new approach to handling our data. We are using HyperFlex as our primary UC data center environment. The scalability and ease use of management with Insight allows ease of use with managing VMs and Management of resources across the platform.

I feel HyperFlex provide a more robust user interface and interaction with your storage. It allows for easy deployment of LUNs and connectivity to your Hosts. The ease of use provides a better end user experience to those new to the storage and virtualization platforms. Cannot stress enough the scalability of the product vs other all in one solutions.
I found time to deploy HyperFlex was less than 1 day from stand up to use. There are complexities in the requirements to understand what is being performed and what are the expected outcomes of your decisions.
HyperFlex is recommended to be updated by Intersight vs built in VMware updates. Intersight does allow for a more robust experience in managing drivers and updates to the platform
We use both and it is seem less in allowing control and visibility of your product. increased handling of logs to TAC and troubleshooting of your product.
Fast responses and Cisco support are very helpful in resolving your issues.

If you have an older environment and are looking for an all in one storage/network/vm solution you cannot go wrong with this product. Lets you scale to your needs and add on for future growth. If your needs are more to vSAN needs you will find limitations in this product. I found for a small IT work force, the units, after gathering requirements, were quick and easy to stand up.
