Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meraki SD-WAN

Our company decides to buy a new building to implement a new business unit. The problem was the connectivity of this new site. At this moment it exists only MPLS (copper) connectivity at this new address, but it is possible to have several lines and to optimise this, the solution chosen was Cisco Meraki SD-WAN.
  • Uplink configuration
  • SD WAN policies
  • Load balancing
  • Uplink configuration
  • Flow preferences
  • Global bandwidth limits

  • Traffic rules
For our project, we first had to wait for the installation of our MPLS lines, then for the supply of our LTE box. We then proceeded to add our Meraki MX to our new site, and after connecting our MPLS links, all we had to do was set up our Meraki MX and run our bandwidth tests.
We use Meraki equipment for its ease of installation, configuration and deployment. In fact, once you've purchased them, all you have to do is log on to the Meraki portal and declare your new licenses. From then on, your equipment will appear on this web console. All you have to do is configure them, and once they've been connected, you can manage them easily.
With the implementation of Cisco Meraki SD-WAN on our new site, this has enabled us to optimize the bandwidth of our 3 links. Thanks to this, updates pushed by Microsoft Intune, such as Microsoft CRM operations, are running smoothly. The same applies to SAP and our Teams meetings. And I almost forgot our Cisco telephone system.

Did implementation of Cisco Meraki SD-WAN go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy Cisco Meraki SD-WAN again?

Yes

At our level, we had to optimize our 3 internet links (MPLS and LTE) with applications like O365, SAP, Microsoft CRM Dynamics and our collaborative work tools like Teams. We also had to ensure that both client workstations and servers could communicate with minimal latency with our Microsoft Intune infrastructure.
