We are using IPS which is great tool to drop malicious attempts. Moreover, we are using TALOS so we can block thousands of malicious websites. Also the 0 trust concept helps our customers to have just the right access to the right applications. It has a great impact on our customer business and they are running they are operations smoothly.
We are using usually policy based site to site VPN. Which has a great impact on our customer business as they can create a secure encrypted connection through the insecure internet. They are also able to connect their employees to the right applications and this can happen trough gradual access.
I really like Cisco FTD with FMC. It is one of the best products out there. Nevertheless, when compared to PaloAlot it has some room for improvements. The PaloAlto firewalls in general are faster easier to use and have better features. Easier to TS and faster to operate. I would suggest to improve.
