Overall Satisfaction with Webex Meetings
Webex Meetings is used by all collaborators throughout my organization regardless of the department or area where they work. Webex Meetings is currently the collaboration tool used officially and which is of great help in the context of virtuality and remote work. Webex Meetings is easy to use and does not require higher requirements as it is a subscription tool in the cloud and does not represent business problems at all, quite the opposite. It comes also in Hybrid and On Premise versions. It is currently a great business ally.
- Simplicity to meet face to face with anyone in the world instantly and with high quality video.
- Robust infrastructure around the world to work without interruption.
- Integrate with most common tools like Microsoft Exchange, Office 365 and Google Calendar.
- Lots of features.
- Many features available to get the most out of the tool and make it easier to use.
- Wide range of training on the tool and the new features.
- Choose the version that most fits your organization: Cloud, Hybrid or On Premise.
- Possibility to force a virtual background for all users from the Control Hub. This appears to be in development.
- Although the product is number one in large organizations, Webex Meetings could also try to capture markets where word of mouth has better positioned other products such as Zoom.
- I can't really find more areas where Webex Meetings needs to improve substantially. The tool more than fulfills the function for which it was created and competes in a great way with those on the market.
- Collaborating among the users of the organization in an easy, practical and fast way helps effectively to achieve the business objectives.
- When remote work is a necessity Webex Meetings is a key tool to keep team members connected and collaborating effectively, eliminating the barriers of non-presence scenarios.
- Webex Meetings includes intelligence to transcribe conversations, this helps organizations with a presence in different countries and helps eliminate language barriers between collaborators.

The main organizational challenges I faced when implemented hybrid work was to maintain the spirit of teamwork, synergy and interpersonal relationships among employees. Coordinating work teams and people is significantly more complex in a hybrid environment than when collaborating face-to-face. Another challenge was getting users accustomed to communicating by voice to also start using the benefits of video conferencing.
I mentioned before that some of the main challenges we faced when transitioning to the hybrid work environment were related to interpersonal relationships, the coordination of work teams and overcoming that barrier of not turning on the camera to transmit video that there was originally. With Webex Meetings we managed to break that barrier, it was not necessary to be in a suitable or presentable place in the house, just by setting a virtual background the user felt the comfort and security of collaborating through a video conference without problems and in a simple way, this is an example of how technology has helped overcome challenges.
Both myself and my co-workers, employees and/or clients using a hybrid work model have experienced a simple, flexible and efficient work model, both performing tasks from home and in the office, that is to say anyware, without affecting productivity. With this scheme, the workplace is no longer a limitation.
Webex Meetings is above this competitor due to the wide range of functionalities, integrations with other tools, due to its novelties (transcripts, emojis, reactions, etc.) and also because it can be integrated with Cisco VoIP systems, present in this organization, which allows us to make calls to and from the PSTN natively.

Cisco Hybrid Work
- Working from anywhere (e.g., coffee shop, airport)
- Working from an office or other company space
- Working from home
With the pandemic we had to accelerate the process of change in the way they worked and collaborated in the company, we had to quickly think of a solution that would allow us to work 100% remotely efficiently, for this we used Cisco Webex products in the cloud . Recommendations to migrate to this work scheme: Define processes to make a successful transition to the new hybrid environment, ensure that users have the tools (technology) necessary to work in this environment quickly and efficiently, as well as have the proper training. and finally, know the legal implications required to migrate to this work scheme.
There are many and varied vendors on the market that in recent years have developed very good collaboration products and that may eventually compete with Cisco products, whether in terms of features, functionality or cost benefit. In this sense, Webex is, in my opinion, the market leader and the vendor that has more and better developed its collaboration tools, the best features, the most attractive look and feel, and the best performer. It may not be the cheapest but the quality makes up for that section.
