Overall Satisfaction with CodeTwo Email Signatures 365

CodeTwo Email Signatures allow us to centrally manage end-user's e-mail signatures. It makes it easy to swap out images, change texts or schedule a season or event specific special signature for everybody, a specific group or single users. No more copy & paste errors on the user side, no more outdated or wrong sized images, no more wrong or broken hyperlinks ... The WYSIWYG editor is very well made and there is a powerful code editor for changing the HTML source if you so desire. It can easily be used by less tech-savy people and the result will look great.
Te customer support is fast and very competent.
  • Central signature management
  • Schedule seasonal or event related signatures
  • Dynamic content based on user attributes
  • All information can be centrally managed in AD or Azure
  • Great customer support
  • Allow end-user to prioritize a template (someone writing 99% mail to internal contacts might want the internal signature template to be autoselected)
  • Select template depending if recipient is an internal or external contact
  • Better handling of the conditional placeholders
  • End user spend less time to no time at all with setting up or editing their signatures
  • Signatures are always conform to company standards
  • It can take a few seconds for the signature to be inserted, this might bother some users

Do you think CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with CodeTwo Email Signatures 365's feature set?

Yes

Did CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy CodeTwo Email Signatures 365 again?

Yes

Works well with the Outlook Desktop App or Web App in a M365 Environment with on premise AD or Azure AD. For other use cases there is the possibility to insert the signature on server side, but this is less convenient and not transparent to the user. On mobile devices we can just hope Microsoft will one day offer a way to use add-ins in the Outlook Mobile App.

The included support is just fine. I believe there is no additional premium plan.
On some user's devices the formatting of hyperlinks got turned over and made them look weird. This seems to be an issue with how office handles HTML and applies its own stylings.
Customer support immediately came back with the solution / workaround to put the signature into a table. We can live with that and there are no more problems with weirdly formatted hyperlinks.

Using CodeTwo Email Signatures 365

  • The email preview feature is great and super useful, but it should retain the selected sender until the editor is closed. I often preview a signature for a certain user, do some changes and want to preview them again without re-selecting the same sender every time.
  • The search field for selecting a sender for the preview should execute the search when the enter key is pressed.
  • Conditional placeholders are great but the handling could be better. For example: why do they have to be re-inserted after every change? Or when the default value is intentionally left empty, there should be a way to turn of the warnings.
