Overall Satisfaction with Concur Travel and Expense

We use Concur Travel and Expense as our system to perform our travel and expense reporting. Currently used by all employees and interconnected with credit cards to submit expenses. It is also linked to travel partners that help the reservation process. The current business cases us how this is leveraged for other data analytics and support decision making.

  • Travel plan search optimized
  • Granular data for T&E for financials
Mostly used Concur Travel and Expense. Not a lot of experience with others.
SAP S/4 mainly used to connect and synch the financial data and accruals for expense reports.
The main win is that Concur Travel and Expense easily synch with SAP, and it provides relevant data for expense analysis. It also helps with the accruals for AP.
It has empowered them to perform their own travel, satisfying their needs within company policy. It also reduces checks made by other resources.

Yes

Are you happy with SAP Concur's feature set?

Yes

Did SAP Concur live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of SAP Concur go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy SAP Concur again?

Yes

The itemization and allocation user interface are always messy, and hard to identify the right data. The majority of the built-in checks typically generate a lot of errors when processing. The other big issue with Concur Travel and Expense is the user interface which is very complicated to navigate and complicates data selection, making it a time-consuming task. It could also do a better job to assign the correct credit card transaction type based on merchant data.
