Overall Satisfaction with CrowdStrike Falcon

CrowdStrike is the corporate protection against known (and unknown) malware and bad people.
We were using other solution and we were forced to change it really quick.
The process has been really simple, and for the moment we are really happy with how it works and how it performs.
It can be used both on computers and servers, and it supports quite good both Windows & Linux
  • Protection against all kind of malware
  • Performance
  • Real Time Response
  • Custom IOC Management
  • Notifications to end users
  • Tray Icon
  • Easies malware detection management
  • Easier detection and real time response
  • Get rid of old looking on prem consoles
  • Get rid of the dependance of connectivity with the central server/console
With USB Device Controll you can get rid of most DLP tools (at least for USB protection).
Also if you have some host firewall management system, it can be replaced with CS firewall management
Remote connection (not interactive or RDP like) can be also be replaced, with RTR
Unsure of the question, but with CS solutions we've increased security level, performance on all our devices and ease of use and management.
CrowdStrike Falcon covers what we needed at the moment, which was mainly endpoint protection and response.
Also, it ofers so many other things, that can be easily implemented (same agent... just increases costs) and are really interesting. You can start with a "basic" package and start growing from there.
  • Real Time Response for many things, appart from "Response" to an infection
  • Host firewall management
  • Inventory and detailed information about users/hosts and applications
  • Finding that unmanaged hosts that you have on your network "hidden"
Having a single console to manage all the different modules is a great plus against all the other competitors.
Also, being a cloud native solution, single agent for everyhing, and the ease of use of the whole solution is a plus.
Even the extras as CS Falcon, which makes you able to manage things using powershell scripts.

Do you think CrowdStrike Falcon delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with CrowdStrike Falcon's feature set?

Yes

Did CrowdStrike Falcon live up to sales and marketing promises?

Yes

Did implementation of CrowdStrike Falcon go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy CrowdStrike Falcon again?

Yes

It can be used in combination with your current AV solution or even as an standalone product.
It seems to work pretty well and protects you from almost everything tested.
Maybe RFM can be improved, specially with patch Tuesdays, but nothing to worry too much about.
