Overall Satisfaction with Cvent Event Management
Cvent Event Management is being used by my organization to create registration pages, manage different types of registrations (within the same event), and track attendance for various in-person events. It is being used primarily by the marketing department, but as the marketing department is in charge of in-person external events, the entire company makes use of it through them. It addresses the business problem of conveniently being able to collect and analyze registrant and attendee information for in-person events.
- Cvent Event Management makes things easy for our customers, in terms of registering for an event, modifying their registration, and checking in at the event to attend.
- Cvent Event Management allows for the export of registrant and attendee data.
- Cvent Event Management allows for integration with other tools like HubSpot and CrowdCompass.
- Cvent Event Management does not have the best user interface, and has a noticeable learning curve.
- While one can download registrant and attendee data from Cvent Event Management, the report/data export tool is overly complicated compared to data exports from HubSpot or Qualtrics.
- Setting up a new event can be a bit difficult, due to the user interface, and is more time consuming than it otherwise could be
- In my experience, their customer service has not been particularly good. More often than not, when seeking help for technical issues, I've been left on hold for upwards of an hour at a time, and that has happened multiple times.

- Having a Cvent staff in person at the events to help out with any issues was a big plus
