Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

[It] is used by individuals and mostly to review drawings we received from other companies. We don't have drawing experts during our projects. We received the documentation and DraftSight helped us to analyze and validate ongoing projects. Also for small draws when we need to quote something with our vendors, we do it internally and send for quote.

Pros

  • Easy to use
  • Doesn't require high performance machines
  • Cost is good comparing with other tools

Cons

  • Hard to say, for now it has delivered all we need
  • Maybe a better management of licenses
  • Very positive due to the low cost
  • Easy installation
As I mentioned, for us [it is] an easy tool for users with low experience in draws, easy to learn, and helps us on daily routine checking draws and validating projects we work engaged with our vendors. It provides a great way to follow up on any change quickly and avoid impacts on the whole project.
