Overall Satisfaction with DraftSight

I am the sole user for the company. It is used to help design and calculate dimensions on designs
  • easy to layout design
  • auto dimension feature is great
  • printing is easy
  • auto dimension
  • customers aren't used to having a professional looking drawing for projects - adds value to what i deliver
DraftSight is priced right for what i do and how often i use it. I have tried to use AutoCad in the past but because I am not using it every day, I found it difficult to remember how to do simple tasks. I have an easier time remembering how to do things in DraftSight.

i think it is great for a quick layout of dimensions. I use it all the time to figure out gaps between radius' and lines. Depending on customer needs, I will also use it to sketch out a project so that it shows relative sizes of different items in the project.
