Overall Satisfaction with Druva inSync

We use it across the whole organization for users who handle critical data and laptops. It will address the risk of data loss during the event of hard disk failure or theft. This also supports the backup of mail archive in an incremental manner which ensures no duplication happens and only metadata is stored.

  • Risk of data loss by employee is there. Though there is enough restrictions available.
Our cloud apps data is protected using Druva. Which provides good data retrieval and ensures availability.
We have not faced such a scenario yet, since we have a very restricted environment.
Druva has ease of management with effective usage of storage, avoiding duplication with metadata. It supports more formats of data and restrictions can be applied. Users can restore data from snapshot of there preferences. Each modification of data can be retrieved, and this ensures the data is usable at any point of time.
Implementation was easier than we thought. Being on the cloud, creating our account was done in minutes. User creations will take only a few clicks. If the users have administrator rights, they can download, install and login with the credentials shared via mail during user creation.
All actions like back up and restore at the user end can be performed from the cloud.

It is well suited for organizations that have on-premise solutions since this ensures the backup and retrieval of data. For organizations that are completely on the cloud, it will already have multiple DR's and availability zones provided by cloud providers. At an employee level, traveling employees would be the most benefited. Availability of their data can be ensured even if the organization have on-premise solutions with less infrastructure.
