The Druva Cloud Platform (formerly Druva inSync & Druva Phoenix) provides unified data protection, management, and information governance across endpoints and cloud applications. We do not currently use this feature for any type of automated, proactive monitoring of end-user data for potential risk. Since we already run an EDR solution on all of our clients, our security team does not currently see a need in implementing this type of additional monitoring. Therefore, we do not currently have the Druava agent installed on any of our endpoints. It is currently only used for backing up our M365 mailboxes and OneDrive data.

we ran into a station where a large portion of our data was moved to cloud-hosted and therefore we no longer needed Drive for this. Once I deleted the unneeded data sets, Druva reached out immediately to check the situation. I was very happy to get that call.

Compliance is a big goal for our organization with PII or PHI, so Druva Data Resiliency Cloud allows incremental or full restorers, for applications like Microsoft Teams, Exchange, and Outlook. Retention policies per backup job can be set to retain data for as long as our legal hold requires.

We actually are not using this particular feature in Druva yet. We are aware it's there though, and they explained it to us during the onboarding and general overview. For now, we are planning on using DLP with Office 365. However, we might come back and assess Druva as an option to do this work instead since all of the data is already there.

Mainly audit users that are out of compliance which is part of our company data policy. This happens monthly and all employees are audited by the IT department in order to maintain compliance with our internal policy as well as to maintain our ISO certification that we acquired with the help of Druva.

Yes, Druva inSync has its own alerting system that helps you to identify the backup status, and with its AD synchronization, it clearly identifies the user with any backup issue. This is very helpful to get a remediation plan to get the backup strategy up to date.

An end user is not able to turn off the back up. And the end user is also not able to change the back up rules. The end user is also not able to remove Druva from the laptop because it will re-install if it is found to be missing.

We had a user in an extremely high-latency environment (satellite internet). That user was identified by Druva inSync as being non-compliant with our backup policies. We had that user come into the office to back up, which was successful. A few weeks later that individual left the company, and we were able to retain data and lock down access thanks to Druva inSync.

It helps identify non-compliant users and kinds of violations that have been done by them. There are a lot of restrictions in terms of file type, file size, kind of data in a file that an organization would like users to deal with. Druva Cloud Platform helps our company to implement this compliance very effectively and helps monitor actions of non-compliance by such users.
