Overall Satisfaction with Dynatrace

It's being used by IT to troubleshoot incidents that may impact our customers in a variety of ways. We have different types of systems, some distributed across thousands of stores and some running in centralized data centers. The scale is unmanageable without this type of platform.
  • Automated topology discovery is useful as no one ever seems to know the bigger picture.
  • The Davis AI anomaly detection removes the guesswork.
  • Some services can get pulled into problems and correlated even when unrelated.
  • Some services that aren't deployed frequently require numerous restarts to keep up with the frequent release schedule.
  • We lose a significant amount of money when our site is down. The faster we resolve issues directly correlates to our bottom line.
The ease of use and feature set was greater with Dynatrace.
Support is always available and able to help. They are also very collaborative in bringing ideas back to product management and development.

In the organization I am in, a tool like Dynatrace is a must. It should be monitoring your infrastructure and integrated into your build pipelines and performance pipelines. When you have customers and revenue tied to your system, you can't afford to not know exactly how it's performing.
