Overall Satisfaction with Encompass from Ellie Mae
Encompass is used within the residential lending area for our mortgage loan origination System (LOS). We use it exclusively for the life of the loan; from loan origination to processing to underwriting through to closing and post-closing. Encompass streamlines much of the process and allows integration with many other platforms. It's an "all in one" solution. There are many ways it can be customized (most customizations are easy, but you can also make them as complicated as you want) which gives us the ability to customize the borrower's experience to make it as streamlined as possible.

- It is easy-to-use and provides the ability to be customized
- Speed. Sometimes the system can run slow causing some delays in the process.
- Does not support construction lending very well.
- Loan Quality has improved
- System data integrity vastly improved
- Compliance exceptions noted in audit and self-monitoring reviews decreased.
Encompass is top of the line from a compliance stand-point. There are no other LOS systems that come close to the customization, support and intergration of Encompass.
