Overall Satisfaction with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Studio

ExactTarget is the primary email marketing tool for our corporation. We use it across our US and international businesses to send both B2B and B2C emails. Mainly it is used by our marketing departments, but supported by Product Development and Business Intelligence. It helps us send targeted emails to B2B and B2C, and create unique templates for each of our markets, market segments, etc. It also provides extensive data on the performance of our email campaigns.

For a corporation, Exact Target is the better product because it allows for a more scalable solution across markets, and is more flexible. It allows for greater customization, more data integration and segmentation, and transparency into necessary reporting. Constant Contact is a great tool, especially for not for profits or small to medium size businesses when the work is being done more locally by a few people. Exact Target fits the need for having marketing people sit around the world, and wanting to maintain a consistent branding message.
It is easily applied across various markets with the ability to segment lists, templates, and emails to each or provide them to all. It is easy to use for market segmentation, email template development, custom email templates, and provides strong statistics back to us about the performance of our campaigns. Furthermore, they provide strong reviews of our content and campaigns over time, and make suggestions on how to improve our open and conversion rates.

Exact Target has an exceptional team with great customer care. Whenever we have a question or concern they are timely in addressing it. They also perform annual reviews in person that provides us with market trends, new tools and features, performance metrics, and new content recommendations. We evaluate this by local market and at the international level.
