Overall Satisfaction with G Suite

We use G Suite as our primary internal employee platform. G Suite powers e-mail, file storage, user accounts, and more.
  • Excellent e-mail, powered by Gmail
  • Powerful integration with Google services
  • Easy to use yet with a detailed feature set
  • Customer support for legacy version is almost non-existent
  • Occasional "black box" behavior around e-mail rate limiting and SPAM detection
  • Certain components like "Groups" seem to be ignored when it comes to feature updates
  • Reduced human labor cost for IT
  • Increased collaboration through tools like Drive
G Suite was originally free and was the default choice at the time due to this. Since then I have also experimented with a few other similar services and found that G Suite is the best solution for production deployments. There may be specific scenarios where Microsoft's solution is needed due to incumbent business requirements. For price sensitive small businesses or hobbyists, ZOHO is a good choice.
G Suite is probably a good solution for any business ranging from small business to an enterprise. There are some free solutions for smaller businesses such as ZOHO. G Suite is probably the default choice unless you have some legacy Microsoft integrations / requirements or a user base unable or unwilling to migrate from Office 365.
