Gong is primarily being used by our sales organization to help coach Account Executives in their interaction with prospective customers. It is also used at times by our marketing team to help evaluate the front lines and provide feedback to our process as well. It has been incredibly valuable for insight and professional development!
- Provides visibility to management to come alongside direct reports for coaching opportunities.
- Heightens accountability for everyone knowing that they are being evaluated.
- Recordings of Gong allow you to archive conversations to see progress.
- The user interface is a little "too much" at times.
- The marketing is goofy with the whole high school chemistry book theme.
- It would be nice to have a stripped version with just recording and feedback queue.
- Increased accountability on team.
- Maximized quantitative coaching opportunities.
- Started bi-weekly coaching sessions with all six direct reports solely based on Gong.
