Overall Satisfaction with Google My Business
Google My Business essentially allows you to get a listing on Google for free. It helps you to show up in search engines, generate traffic, and overall make more people aware of your business.
Pros
- I like that it is linked with Google Maps, though this is a benefit from the user perspective because it makes locating the businesses easily.
- A great strength is that it is free to sign up for and create a listing.
- Allows you to set hours, have a call button, website link, etc.
Cons
- Sometimes when they make updates I do not see the option to update within the software.
- Customer support is almost nonexistent.
- Some spam comes through because of the listing.
- We have had a negative impact with people being able to make updates at any time.
- For our own listing there is positive impact since we have generated traffic and awareness with no cost.
I have not used another product like this because it is all Google offers.
