Overall Satisfaction with Harvest
Harvest is being used across our entire organization. We are currently using it to track our team's administration time as well as very important clients' time. Since it connects into our invoice software, it is easy to assign time to a specific invoice/project. It is time tracker through and through and operates at its best when this is all you are using it for.
- Time tracking. It has a simple interface that makes it easy for each employee to watch thier time in and what they spent their day/ week/ monthly effort on.
- Harvest also allows easy setup. Their platform has all the necessary tools to get going including an import tool that you can use to push information over from a previous time tracking software.
- Harvest also has fantastic customer service.
- A missing feature with Harvest is the lack of interaction with other billing software except for Quick Books Online. While this is great to start out with, it does not have a lot of practicality the larger your agency gets or the more diverse your income streams are.
- Less time spent pulling reports means less money spent on HR and admin time.
- It allows greater transparency with our clients in showing them how we budget their dollars and what they get in return. This is a positive attribute of any time tracking software but is specifically one that allows us new business and sets our agency apart. Harvest does a great job showing the time budget and how we use it.
Harvest is better than the other time tracking software we have used, primarily, Timeneye. It allows better reporting with less effort. It is also easier to use the larger our agency gets. The plug ins and integrations that Harvest has (Asana primarily) make it even better because your workflow can get streamlined into other systems you use.
