Overall Satisfaction with Heap

We use Heap to analyze our users' behaviors on our app with a combination of use cases: usage of a certain feature, funnel analysis of processes, global behavior on certain pages or regarding certain options on the page, etc. We want to know more about how many users actually use our product, how they use it, and for what purpose. It can also help users determine when and from where they use it, which can be the type of input you need in certain product decisions. It's also used to display comprehensive data analyses that are ready to be shared.
  • Automated user behavior analysis.
  • Easy definition of events and triggers that need to be analysed.
  • User history on the application by default.
  • In-app navigation to define events isn't compatible with all products.
  • Loading times for data computing are sometimes too much.
  • General UX of the tool and dashboard-making could be improved.

Well suited if needed to start analyzing user behavior on an application that has no analytics yet - no setup is required, and in-app navigation to define events and triggers is a great feature for those kinds of situations. Not always appropriate for massive amounts of data as loading times can become tiresome.
