Overall Satisfaction with HubSpot

HubSpot is being used by our company to:

  • Identify potential opportunities
  • Generate new leads
  • Nurture current leads
  • Keep current customers in the loop
  • Collect and nurture potential job applicants
We check our dashboard first thing every day, and refer back to it several times a day, especially on days when our campaigns are particularly active.

We use almost all of the tools available to us:

  • Buyer persona creation
  • Keyword research
  • Analytics
  • SEO suggestions
  • Social Marketing review, scheduling, monitoring, responding
The Social Marketing tools have reduced the time it takes to schedule tweets, monitor who is talking about us, and overall engagement with our

Marketing Automation helps us with creating and maintaining all of our:

  • Calls to Action
  • Landing Pages
  • Forms
  • Lists
  • Campaigns
  • Workflows
The Reporting tools automatically keep track of what is working and what is not. We check the popularity of Blog posts, how often our core pages are being accessed, monitor how our keyword rankings are doing and much more. We could not be as productive as we are without the interconnectedness of the tools.

Additionally, we do all of the above and more for clients. We could not do what we do for them without HubSpot at the center of our activities. (We could, but it would cost them double or triple)!
  • HubSpot coordinates our marketing efforts across multiple channels.
  • The Dashboard is clear and concise. This is the daily (and intra-day) hub for us.
  • Several tools within HubSpot make it easy to see what is working and what is not in our marketing efforts.
  • Pricing is an issue with some of our clients.
  • Some tools require digging in to the training before being used effectively.
  • The mobile app is great, but needs more features.
  • Our website visitors grew by 400% in the first 5 months.
  • Our leads are more closely matched to our ideal customers. We are not wasting marketing efforts on potential clients that would not be a good fit.
  • One surprise benefit came when we began collecting names and email addresses of qualified job applicants.

Sure, you could cobble together free and/or paid tools to do some of the work of HubSpot. But your toolset will most likely still not measure up to the integration afforded by using HubSpot. From one dashboard and reports (both standard and custom), you can get a pulse of your marketing activities. Your prospect and lead lists will grow with HubSpot, and opportunities will begin to bubble to the top.

We integrate SideKick to help us identify "hot" prospects. The HubSpot CRM is not complicated.

We follow our prospects' journeys through our website and know exactly the right moment to contact them.
I like to recommend HubSpot to companies that meet this minimum criteria:

  • Committed to growth
  • Willing to spend 15% of their budget on marketing
  • Are on target to reach over $1M annual revenue
  • Understand that building a foundation takes time
  • Patient to see results in 6-9 months
If companies are not committed to building a foundation, HubSpot may not be for them. If a company is not hungry to grow, they probably do not have the stamina required to build a successful Inbound Marketing campaign.

Using HubSpot

You might quickly dismiss a review that rates HubSpot at 10 out of 10, but don't. We have experienced success by using HubSpot in our own marketing efforts. Someone in our organization is in our portal nearly every hour of every day, using the social media tools, the reporting tools, the analysis tools, etc. Our WordPress-based site was easily integrated into HubSpot. Our setup was painless. Every blog post that we create gives us an opportunity to reach another prospect.

By using HubSpot, we are more effective and efficient than if we paid somebody to manually perform all of the marketing activities that HubSpot handles automatically. We are saving money compared to not using HubSpot. Each time we grow, we scale our HubSpot activities to match. Even as we assign different marketing tasks among our employees, each can see what has already been done and the results of those efforts. Everybody can clearly see what is working and what to focus on next.

Our recent growth is directly attributable to HubSpot.
