Overall Satisfaction with IBM Spectrum Accelerate

It is a very good product based on IBM XIV storage technology that enables rapid deployment of block storage services for new and traditional workloads, on-premises, off-premises, and in a combination of both.

The most important feature is the robustness; it is always online, apart from allowing us to unify our file and database storage.

I recommend this product in cases when we have to Deploy scale-out storage grids in automated environments; it can be done in minutes rather than days. Another exciting point is the quality of service that it allows for establishing different performance tiers without a need for physical tiering. A point against, from my point of view, is connectivity because it only provides a connection by iscsi.
