Overall Satisfaction with Sage Intacct

We use Intacct within several focus groups in our organization. Intacct allows us to standardize our business processes among our clients and to relieve the burden of having an in-house hosted solution. We have gained efficiencies in AP/AR processes and report control and standardization. This solution is great for metrics reporting and transparencies. Also, it has a great ability to restrict data to specific users/departments.
  • Intacct is a true SaaS application. It is built from the ground up as a true cloud accounting software and has not been adapted for cloud purposes. This provides for a smoother and more efficient customer experience and improved capabilities for new feature deployments.
  • Intacct allows for flexibility on various platforms such as mobile and tablets, allowing users to stay connected to the businesses on the go.
  • The dimensional reporting and dashboards allows a CFO and business owners deeper insights to their business, allowing them to make better and accurate business decisions.
  • Advanced inventory management built into the system.
  • Improved AP process approvals with ACH integration.
  • Financial reporting and audit granularity.
  • The time it saves in manual processes is a HUGE benefit.
  • Giving us real-time analytical information on projects is insightful.
Intacct is in a class above in capabilities. It is a true accounting system. While QuickBooks does provide some good user interfaces, it does not provide all the flexibility of an Intacct. Sage 50 is just not plain user friendly.
The learning curve takes a little time, however, the workflow across managing all our clients is very beneficial.

While manufacturing is not in the wheelhouse in terms of industry focus, the professional services, not-for-profit and multi-entity capabilities set Intacct apart from the rest of the marketplace. Intacct is more than capable of performing any function required as long as you understand its limits and are willing to use third party vendors to fill in the gaps.
