Overall Satisfaction with InVision Freehand

We use it as a digital whiteboard, collaboration space, workshop facilitator, and design playground. From a business, it has helped us digitize work in a remote-work space (covid) and from an XD perspective, we leverage it for varying degrees of our design process to help visualize and execute projects.

  • creating easy-to-follow 'screens'
  • frames
  • sticky notes
  • some of the templates but often have to make modification to make it work for me
  • allowed for collab during covid
I prefer Miro for previous listed items.

I don't know if it's one thing, but I enjoyed using Miro and found it easier overall on several fronts. Some of the connections are smoother, the UI components for building things are more robust and collaboration tools are more robust. Sketchy/napkin-like work is great in InVision but sometimes when I need things to be more polished - that doesn't translate as well.
