- The ion video tutorials and the forum are very helpful. Some are repetitive but I can't complain.
- On-demand customer service. They're super helpful and respond right away during office hours. You'll get the entire copy of your conversation for reference via email.
- The finished product looks professional and responsive friendly.
- You don't need to know how to code to create them.
- We need an undo feature!!! Once we move an object you cannot undo it... having this function will save us more time.
- Not sure how every designer feels but I wish there was a library (specifically for designers) that has everything we need to know to build the website. The answers are out there but it would be nice to have them all in one spot so I don't have to dig around. Such as how to upload a pdf file in the ion server so we can link it to the download button.
- For someone who does not code, it would be nice to have a cheat sheet somewhere that explains some web design/code terms such as "in-line" or "in-line block".
- It would be nice to have a function where something could auto download instead of preview on another screen.
- It's nice to track users journey throughout the website thanks to the tag system
- The content is mobile friendly
I've used Squarespace, which is perfect to build my portfolio site. But ion is an ideal place to build templates with strict styleguides for our marketing team to use.
