Overall Satisfaction with ITRS Geneos

ITRS Geneos has been a vital tool for monitoring my project's infrastructure and application alerts. Due to the size of the organization, there are multiple instances of Geneos that were being used by different projects to monitor the applications within their scope.

ITRS Geneos acts as the centralized monitoring tool for my project. It was very critical for the operations team to monitor the health of the environment and to get alerted as soon as any incident-causing event occurs.
  • ITRS Geneos has many built-in plugins to integrate with other widely used tools like Control-M.
  • Apart from being the monitoring tool, it provides different features like capacity planning and log analytics.
  • ITRS Geneos' new UI is quick, responsive and user-friendly.
  • ITRS Geneos team should work on adding more features that are vital for any monitoring tools like machine learning, predictive analysis, etc.
  • They could also add more visualization options for admins in their UI.
  • ITRS Geneos should have more integration options. They should keep adding integration plugins for new tools as well.
  • ITRS Geneos has helped us automate most of our manual monitoring work.
  • ITRS Geneos has helped alert us about an event in a quick and timely fashion so as to minimize the impact of an event.

Every tool that competes in the market with ITRS Geneos has its own capabilities and shortcomings. For our project, ITRS Geneos stands out since it is a stable product with a long history of serving large organizations with huge number of components to monitor.
ITRS Geneos has upgraded itself to a new and better GUI interface and has offered integration with different tools.
ITRS Geneos support is well managed by its wide variety of options like live chat, query submissions, 24/7 on-call support, self help and of course well-documented details about its features and troubleshooting methods.

ITRS Geneos is being used by many big size organizations because it is a stable product with a good pool of knowledge available about it.

ITRS Geneos will be a good tool if you are looking for a solution to monitor applications and infrastructure in a modern tech stack environment where smart monitoring is required. It will be useful as a monitoring and log analytics tool to find out the events that can cause the disruption in service.

However, if you are looking for more complex needs from a tool that is highly focused on capabilities like machine learning and predictive analytics, there are other tools available which can fit better as per your requirement.
