Overall Satisfaction with Jira Software

We have started to use Jira within our IT and marketing teams to create new products for our customers and track the progress easily. The integration was easy and my overall experience was good, I will recommend it to keep things organized and make software development easier. The free version also is very functional.

  • Not intuitive.
  • Takes time to get used to it and remember how it works.
  • When something is created earlier the date and time should be exact.
  • Makes work flexible.
  • Reduces time spent on communication.
  • Collaboration has improved.
The biggest plus that Jira offers is the way it allows you to customize everything. I love the mobile app too, it allows you to keep track even if you are away from desktop. You can easily integrate other software (Slack, GitHub) with Jira and search within it easily.

It's a good agile project management tool. If you do some jobs within multiple teams this is just what you need. No more emails, no more follow-up calls, you see, comment, assign and do everything in Jira and everyone can see it. You get due date notifications, assignment notifications.
