Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI

To shorten development time and improve quality of products we decided to use Kendo UI gadgets which allow us to spent more time on developing business logic and software related to business problems.
  • Final look - various gadgets looks very nice

  • Relatively difficult customization
  • Help documentation for gadgets customization can be better with more realistic -complex coed examples

  • Decrease front end test time
We worked with Telerik since 2011. At first we used their controls for Silverlight and with time we continued using their tools like Kendo UI since we had positive experiences. In the beginning we took Telerik tools on a trial basis, and after a test period we liked their products so we started to use them in production.
Generally, if you want to present data in a way which is compatible with a Kendo UI specification data domain everything is ok and you can dramatically decrease development time. On the other hand, if you need to adapt Keno UI to your business data domain and from there have different presentation logic compare to Kendo, these things can be very tricky and difficult.
