Overall Satisfaction with Kendo UI
We have a web application whose controls are developed using Kendo UI. It's currently used within our department for a couple of web applications. We are using controls like data picker, drop-down list, grid control, text input, autocomplete, file upload, navigation, bars, data sources, reporting controls, etc. The controls are a mix of ASP.Net MVC and Javascript API.
- Consistency in the API makes the use of the control easy.
- It almost has all the controls you may need to develop your application
- The user base is extensive so online help is easy.
- We see some performance issue with few controls, especially with the grids.
- We could easily get started with available samples for our POC so that way decision are smooth and faster.
- The support for ASP.Net MVC. and React.
- The only negative thing that was seen initially had comparatively weak documentation for ASP.Net MVC.
We tried JSplot, HTML5 controls, and JQuery.
