I couldn't recommend Klaviyo more!
Overall Satisfaction with Klaviyo
We use Klaviyo for all of our email marketing campaigns, flows, and SMS marketing. We used to use Mailchimp before switching over to Klaviyo and we did so because we weren't getting enough of a robust solution with Mailchimp. We really wanted to be able to start a great abandoned cart flow and when we started using Klaviyo we realized that this was just the beginning of what we'd be able to do.
Pros
- Amazing flows to capture customers
- Easy to use templates that look fantastic
- Great analytics and reporting
Cons
- Customer support once onboarding is complete. I was under the impression we'd have someone on the growth team making recommendations to us about ways to improve our ROI.
- SMS marketing is expensive and it's not that great. I haven't been impressed with the results.
- We've seen a huge boost in our ROI for email marketing since starting to use Klaviyo
- We never had the opportunity to create amazing flows before the use of Klaviyo and we couldn't be happier with how it's going.
- We've captured over $100k in revenue in the last year from our abandoned cart flow alone.
Honestly, it hasn't. We're struggling to find that great ROI with SMS as we do with email.

The setup was really easy and seamless. We covered this in our onboarding and it couldn't have gone more smoothly.
It's really amazing to see all of the details Klaviyo is able to pull in about each customer. Some of my favorite campaigns to send are segmented by brand and product type. We are able to send extremely targeted campaigns based on brands that customers have purchased or products that they like. With all we've done with Klaviyo, I also know that we're just scratching the surface.
Definitely, retention, upsell, and acquisition. The really great thing about Klaviyo is that you can create flows and campaigns for every single stage of the customer journey. We are just starting to get more into Upsells and we're excited about what we'll be able to set up for this.
There's really no competition. Mailchimp is a great starter platform, but when you get to a certain level, it's just not robust enough to get everything you need. Klaviyo has increased our ROI so much and has allowed us to capture so much revenue that we were likely losing out on previously.
