Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF
General PDF reader and editor. It is also used to compile multiple documents into one, with bookmarks, page numbering, etc
- Document compilation (combining multiple documents into one);
- general PDF reader - it is usually able to read PDF documents;
- Commenting functionality - the commenting seems to be better than Adobe's.
- The editing functionality is not particularly user friendly or easy to use. Also the font used for edits is often different to the document font even if the document font is installed on the computer.
- Features such as changing document security, setting document options on opening of a document are hidden away and difficult to find for new users.
- Lastly it struggles with signatures used by electronic signature services - it invariably reports "issues" with the signature. Form design is very difficult.
- It is a decent, cheaper alternative to Adobe products.
- The best is that it does not require a subscription.
No, I found the learning curve to be quite steep with key features often hidden away or behaving in unexpected ways. Form design is extremely difficult.
Adobe Acrobat, Nitro. Better than Nitro; probably slightly behind Adobe Acrobat in terms of compatibility.
