Overall Satisfaction with Kofax Power PDF (formerly Nuance)

I use Kofax Power PDF as my go-to PDF editor. It provides the tools we need at a fair and reasonable price point.
  • FormTyper to establish editable fields on plain PDF forms.
  • Import data to forms.
  • Redaction tools.
  • Save to DXF.
  • Continue to improve convert to Excel tables.
  • It's hard to put a value on this but I find on bid day that it really helps to have confidence in your process.
I started using the product when it was still Nuance and have stayed with it over the years. I find it works and works well and meets all of my needs.
I have used Adobe Acrobat and Bluebeam but keep coming back to Nuance for my own use.
I've never had the need to engage Kofax Support!

I mostly use the product to scan and digitize forms and reports from difference sources. By importing data I can cut back on manual entry of a lot of pricing information through mapping of values from Excel to textboxes.
I've had good success in using Kofax Power PDF to build fillable forms from scanned images and then being able to import data into the forms. Really cuts down on re-entering information. I've also had good luck converting scanned images to Excel worksheets. I highly recommend the product against its competitors.
