Overall Satisfaction with Looker

We use Looker for data analytics with our engineers and product teams, to better understand our speed and accuracy that our APIs provide to our customers. We are also using Looker to determine error messaging for when our APIs fail so that we can fix these errors.
  • Looker has high bandwidth and can process a lot of information quickly
  • Looker is relatively easy to understand as a non technical staff
  • Looks provides a lot of flexibility to integrate with our APIs
  • Looker isn't build friendly with non engineering staff
  • Looker crashes occasionally
  • Looker could have a better looking UI
  • Looker has allowed us to track improvements in our API speed, and show increases of 9% speed to our leadership team
  • Looker has provided a ROI on engineering productivity as well - as there are certain product lines that individual engineers manage
  • Looker has taken some more time than we would like to train users, some of the interface is not intuitive for non-engineering team members

Do you think Looker delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Looker's feature set?

Yes

Did Looker live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Looker go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Looker again?

Yes

It is well suited for use for our engineering team, and not as useful for non-technical staff who aren't able to intuitively use Looker without some additional training or help from the data analytics team. It is occasionally hard to navigate the filtering and could be easier to use - but serves its current use case with our engineering team.
