Overall Satisfaction with Marketo
Marketo is used across our whole organization. We have different departments and divisions that all use it and all have different organizational structures. It helps us with quick project turn arounds and with having a similar email style for customers to recognize.
- Email creation. Marketo makes it easy for even brand new users to create and send emails
- Data Management. Marketo does a good job of allowing custom fields to meet any business needs.
- Nurture. Marketo does a great job of allowing us to create simple and complex nurture programs that can be used to engage with our prospects that are at different buying stages.
- Reporting. I find the reporting very lackluster, and it's difficult to get exactly what we need.
- Mobile app. I wish there was an easier way to use Marketo on the go. I can log in on my mobile device, but it's extremely difficult to do anything.
- I would like to see more email version 2.0 templates. A master template with all of the modules would be perfect.

Overall we are trying to provide our customers and leads with useful information regarding our products. Our goal is to increase engagement and overall knowledge of what Bio-Rad offers, and Marketo allows us to do this at a global level. Multiple teams and departments use Marketo, and it's great that we can all use the same tool to execute this.
I've never used any others. I have seen Eloqua, but I've never been able to use a competitor, and I don't have any interest. If someone were to ask me how they stack up to Marketo, I would say that I'm sure there are similarities, but Marketo is so heavily used and recommended for a reason. I love it.
