Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Entra ID
This allows our organization to leverage SaaS applications when our primary Identity provider, Okta is not supported. Additionally it gives our active directory environment high availability.

- one of the most supported Identity providers by vendors
- integrates well with other microsoft suite services
- Every additional service is nickel and dimed
- microsoft much like aws likes to change product names too frequently for no reason
- Microsoft Entra ID password write back has been especially useful for users who do not read emails about passwords expiring
- The self service portal saves time for our help desk
Our organization has on premise domain controllers which have a two way sync with Microsoft Entra ID and Okta.
Yes, we use Microsoft Entra ID to secure Caseware as they do not allow for Okta for their SSO portal.
Yes, allowing users to use the password self service portal and password write back saves staff time when forgetting their passwords.
Microsoft Entra ID is very comparable to the Okta offering. If you want to keep everything under the microsoft umbrella then I think Microsoft Entra ID is for you.
