Overall Satisfaction with Microsoft Project

We use Microsoft Project in the engineering department to manage our water jobs. This helps us coordinate different activities and make sure our projects are on time.
  • Easy to use out of the box
  • Good integration with the rest of our Office suite
  • High price
  • To use it well some training would be necessary
  • Our engineering team has gotten a lot of use out of the product. I believe ROI has been great.
You can start using it right away but would want some training to fully utilize it.
We haven't used this part of Microsoft Project. I believe Microsoft has good support though.
We did not consider other products as we are a Microsoft shop and went with Microsoft.
It is useful in a Microsoft shop to keep your software catalog consistant.
