Overall Satisfaction with Miro

I use Miro to facilitate virtual workshops and teach undergraduate business students. In a virtual world, Miro is the place we gather, create, and share.
  • Spark creativity.
  • Share ideas.
  • Democratize input.
  • Visually represent abstract ideas.
  • Sometimes it can be hard to teach Miro to newcomers...while I find it intuitive, I have seen a lot of frustration from high-level thinkers who are not on a computer all day, such as doctors.
  • Miro has allowed me to keep working despite a global pandemic.
  • Miro has helped me illustrate abstract concepts.
  • Miro has given me a space to build in collaboration with others.
Implementation can be tricky, as not everyone is a visual thinker or comfortable with new technology. It takes guiding clients through the process. In my sector some people catch on immediately, others need practice time.
Not everyone knows how to use it at first.
Miro is brilliant at helping us collaborate on new projects- whether it is a website design or planning a publication or ideating on strategic goals.

  • MURAL (formerly Mural.ly)
I don't have any experience with others but had been introduced to Miro.
Microsoft 365 (formerly Office 365)
I really love using Miro in a several-week-long change process or a classroom- as it is a place to come back to and see where we were last and where we are going. In my undergrad business classes, it allows for a deeper kind of inquiry which can help facilitate student-directed learning.
