Overall Satisfaction with monday.com

  • We used several different tools before monday.com.
  • Easy to find stuff.
  • Easy to set up template boards, and duplicate them when needed for new projects.
We have started to use monday.com, to track all the tasks within a project. Currently we have expanded the use of monday.com to entirely manage projects, as the only tool to track all of the company's projects, assign owners and deadlines, and as a backbone to some administrative things, like meeting reminders, storing data and linking to Google Drive files. Client contact info is also being saved on monday.com.
  • Notifications. It's very robust, notifying events based on dates, or updates.
  • Very easy to change structures and moving data around.
  • Easy to publish information, to clients or guests.
  • Filters. They could use multiple filters, with And, OR Operators. Right now it supports only AND or only OR operators.
  • Print options are limited, and in some cases it messes the formatting, like when printing pie charts on a dashboard. You don't have options for titles, key location...
  • Zoom Integration still in the beginning, there are a couple of things that could be improved in that integration.
It has a very robust integrations menu, it integrates with most of the productivity tools available in the market today. It's very easy to, but sometimes restricted, build an integration. The automations are good and the create your own is very easy to use, drag and drop type interface, although it still lacks some operations or options.
I haven't used the support very often, maybe 2 o 3 times. The overall response time was good, not super fast, but like with other vendors, the first contact is just questions, even though in my case, the questions being asked were answered on the ticket, when I stated the problem. And to most of my issues, the answer I got, after 4 or 5 iterations, was that monday.com did not support that yet, and that the development team would work on it as soon as possible.
We never had any issues with downtime. Sometimes when creating an automation I get an error message saying that something on monday.com's side went wrong and to try again, other than that, no problems with uptime. It's a reliable solution and I believe everything works exactly the way monday.com proposes them to, not what we expect sometimes, but accordingly to monday.com's proposal.

Do you think monday.com delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with monday.com's feature set?

Yes

Did monday.com live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of monday.com go as expected?

Yes

Would you buy monday.com again?

Yes

I really like using monday.com. Easy to use, has good tutorials, in the form of short video clips, very straightforward. I think, from my team's experience, it's good to concentrate all communication in one place. I think that if your scenario depends heavily on files, I would think twice. The files view, or the way attached files are displayed or searched is still a long ways. It pollutes the screen too much.
