Use Cases and Deployment Scope

monday.com is used throughout the company across all departments. The aim of the introduction was to achieve uniform project management, transparent resource planning and budget overviews from following reasons:

Non-uniform processes and procedures in the brand teams and trades (each team works differently).
Unclear responsibilities.
Too many different tools in circulation.
No overview possible for project managers & creatives.
No uniform understanding of the brand teams and trades via common communication channels.

Pros and Cons

Structured project report.
Many templates can be used directly.
Inclusion of freelancers, guests easily possible.
Good import function such as Excel.

Unlimited number of boards that can be integrated into dashboards not possible.
Relatively poor (in sound & quality) how-to videos.
Missing undo button/shortcut such as Strg Z.
Deleted members are also welcomed.
Show recycle bin directly on the left.

Usability

monday.com is quick and easy to grasp.

The structure of the individual columns and the individualization is quickly possible.

Creating your own company template area is also great.

Unfortunately, only the same 3 monday.com templates are displayed in the template recommendation.

It would be great if you could customise this for yourself.

Support Rating

The monday.com team is always very polite and helpful.
In the case of various enquiries, they first asked whether they had understood the issue correctly, instead of getting an answer directly.

Enquiries in German are answered with a relatively poor translation program because there is no German-speaking support active at the moment.

Reliability & Availability

We had done a major relaunch for a pack range years ago.
The same assortment/brand was reworked again - this time each SKU was completely created in monday.com, so that each team member of the various departments always had the same status.

The result was very clear: 50% of the time led to a better result.

Many helpful standards plus the possibility to introduce tailor-made processes according to one's own needs.

The resource overview (per head) gives a good possibility to control the workload.
The communicative exchange in the tool ensures that everything is in one place.
