Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Is [the] CMS that acts as repository for our content produced with ContentCloud (authoring tool) and Learning Cloud (consumer), storing, versioning and deploying the content to be delivered using AWS and S3. We use it as a blackbox, not directly but using a proxy app (we call it Metis) that works with a simplified API against our products and with REST API with Nuxeo

Nuxeo Studio helps a lot
Good documentation
Good extensions through plugins

Requires a lot of training for developers
Cost is really a problem
Adaptability for our industry of e-learning requieres a lot of work
Taxonomies and ontologies are really restricted, and not scalable by tenant

Return on Investment

Bad because we were not able to put it in production environments
Lots of developments to match our exact use case
Development teams are not interested in Nuxeo development

Support Rating

Even considering that we were not developing at the pace we were expecting (our fault) Nuxeo Support was able to provide fast and accurate solutions to our request. That gave us a lot of reliability about contacting support and receiving responses to our requests. Appart from normal support Nuxeo University helps a lot in terms of understanding the basics of Nuxeo

If you use Nuxeo directly, their interfaces and logic, then I would recommend Nuxeo, creating direct apps working with Nuxeo really works well, but not using a third app that acts as a proxy or intermediarie.
If you have extensive document management requirements then I would recommend Nuxeo, but not for simple uses cases
