Overall Satisfaction with ON24

We use ON24 primarily for its event functionality which enables us to record events and play them in the future as if they are live to the audience. This functionality means we only have to record a session once and use it many times rather than have to get everyone together on a regualr basis which can be difficult to facilitate. We also use ON24 for hosting web content which allows us to track user engagement through the analytics section, showing us how many pieces of content users are viewing and therefore giving us an idea of the strength of the lead.

  • We have managed to scale our Events from 1 a quarter to one a month using simulive
  • Buy-in from employees is much higher knowing they only have to record events 1 time per event
  • BD Teams can see clearly which leads to target based on engagement freeing up time for them and targeting more qualified leads
We have integrated ON24 with HubSpot which allows our BDE team to see who attended events, this, in turn, allows then to set email automation to leads who didn't attend the events to drive them to a new date of the event or other events they may be interested in as well as seeing who did attend the events and easily being able to contact them re the event.
We switched to ON24 from GoTo Webinar so we saw an instant difference between the two platforms. ON24 is a much more "event" oriented platform with different widgets, screens and breakout rooms whereas GoTo Webinar was more of a webinar-only screen-sharing tool. The ON24 platform allows us to try simulive events which were a game-changer for us as it meant we could service a much larger area of our business in a much smaller time frame.
We haven't scaled a lot through ON24 a great deal beyond the initial scale-up of going from 4 events a year to 1+ a month but we can see that you can scale. The one drawback we have found with scalability is that events over a certain amount of time cost a lot more.
We moved from GoTo Webinar around 3 years ago and at the time it was a tool that served the purpose of webinars but it didn't have a deep level of functionality or customisation which we were looking to grow into. ON24 has widgets and screens you can interact with as well as allowing all presenters to enter the presenter view and share the same set of controls without being clunky and having to change presenters and screenshare separate slide decks etc. ON24 also has the Simulive feature which allows us to record events and play them back as if they are live which we really like.

Depending on what you want to get from the software would be a big factor for why i would personally recommend ON24. If you want to use it primarily for the Events then i would reccomend this as its very user friendly. All presenters can log into the same link and present their pre-uploaded slides without the need to screen-share or switch presenters which can make presentations clunky.

The content tracking and custom landing pages are good but depending on how customised you want to make them there may be limitations. ON24 were good at helping us through trying to get our pages as customised as possible but there are some restrictions of personalisation currently.
