Overall Satisfaction with OpenJDK
We used Open JDK in our organization to solve problems like run time-based crons, We will develop the application in our local using Java and deploy this application on the server. Using this OpenJDK we can build and deploy locally. But sometimes some jar files are not working as expected from my side.
- Performance is good
- This is a open source
- we can build and deploy the code
- Some jar files are not working
- Compatibility issues
- Need to improve documentation
- Low maintenance cost
- More development tools available
- We can spend less time for installation
- No license fees
- We can install any number of systems
- More tools avaliable
- Oracle Java SE, Oracle Java Platform and Micro Edition
One of the reasons for selecting OpenJDK is less costly compared to Oracle Java SLE and Oracle Java Platform, Micro Edition. In most cases OpenJDK performance is similar to the above-mentioned products. By using some features we can fix bugs in stage and production environments. Compared to other products, OpenJDK is very low cost
