Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Database
We currently use Oracle Database to store business data. Oracle Database is more secure and stable than Postgres or MySQL. It has good replication support, which I think makes it stand out from the other products.
- Relational Database Management System
- Great support
- Very stable and reliable solution as compared to other platforms
- From a security perspective, there are lost of patches that come at long intervals. Would like to see them released more frequently.
- Not happy with the current version, quite a few bugs
- Data security - with how the data is stored. This solution doesn't have a lots of encryption options. We have to pay for additional add ons and isn't as competitive with new technology.
- Great database, it has all complexity needed to support the environment.
