Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Dyn Managed DNS

It has been used for External DNS & Cloud DNS Service for our whole organisation, as well as for our customers. It used for all kinds of DNS services from API, DNSSEC automation, global load balancing etc.,
  • DNSSEC has become easier to manage
  • Traffic Director helps us to get a GEO based resolution
  • ANYCAST based DNS service which provides accuracy across all the regions without any downtime
  • When we add any new subdomain, it should reflect its NS records in the parent domain by default but it is not happening at this moment.
  • Traffic Manager methodology can be improved from a GUI perspective, it is a bit confusing at this moment.
  • [The ability to] restart a particular domain option would help us to make any immediate reflection to External Slave Servers.
  • Reduced the downtime compared to an earlier tool which directly impacts the ROI on a business standpoint.
  • Administration has improved.
  • It's very well known in the Internet DNS world.
  • Reliable services across all regions with 100%uptimee.
  • Support is good compares to other providers.
  • Administration is also easier compared with current other DNS service providers.
I have been working with DYN for the past 4 years, and have also worked with many other DNS vendors during my experience. Dyn support always makes us comfortable for any immediate issues or assistance on time. Getting reports and enhancing the features -support is always positive!
