Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity
It is our HRIS platform. We utilize it for payroll, Community networking, Onboarding, Performance Reviews, Surveys, Learning tools, & Data Insights. Monitors our ACA information, and also keeps us in compliance with state and federal tax forms, and other required documents. We also have Paylocity register us in different states when we acquire a remote employee we've never employed in that state before. Paylocity does all the handling getting us registered with state unemployment department, etc.
- Makes the Onboarding experience much better for employee & employer.
- Connects remote and in office employees via Community network.
- Performance reviews are easy to deliver & receive.
- More organized in document saving, and HR/personnel information.
- Guided steps for Admins to complete payroll process is a bit confusing and seems like a longer process than it needs to be.
- Employees should be able to view Time off Calendar for approved time off being taken within their department. More available visibility in that would be helpful. Supervisors are having to house a separate time off calendar in Outlook that their teams can view.
- Being able to custom set timecard approval reminders for those with Supervisor access. Our payroll is semi-monthly, and if pay date falls on a weekend or holiday- it's the business day before. As of now reminders are only able to go out weekly or bi-weekly on same day.
- Better workforce visibility for our ownership & leadership group.
- Surveys and polls help gauge employee engagement and satisfaction.
- Much less timecard/payroll errors. Have a good review and approve process flow.
- Shortens the time a great deal when conducting annual performance reviews for all staff.
Just 2 years ago we were doing paper onboarding documents for all new hires coming in. After that we moved majority of our onboarding documents on to DocuSign, which still was not the most streamlined and efficient method. Over this past year since we've been with Paylocity it has made our Onboarding experience a much better one for both new employees coming in and us as the employer. It ensures we do not miss anything with collecting required tax information, payroll direct deposit form, and all company specific documents. As well as collects the new employee's identification in a simple upload for the Federal I-9 complaince form.
Community engagement as a whole has bridged the gap between our remote employees, their managers, and our in-office employees. We are able to communicate and engage more with each other in a fun way. Employee satisfaction surveys have allowed us to focus in on our areas of improvement needed as a company, and as a leadership group. The recognition piece has been very well received by our staff, both awarding peer to peer impressions and between supervisor and employee.
