Overall Satisfaction with Paylocity

Paylocity has allowed us to make payroll out of the office, doing in-house with our accounting software, to a third party providing the payroll processing. This still allows us to upload the information into our accounting software. We do not use the time and attendance portion as we already have a system that is working well for us.
  • Process payroll.
  • Gets the third party deduction checks to us very timely.
  • Onboarding has allowed us more freedom.
  • Seems like we have a new person we talk to every 3 weeks.
  • Time saving.
  • Lets employees have their info.
  • Has more features than we utilize in our operation.
We really haven't taken advantage of the other features available to us with Paylocity. This being the first year, we are in the process of getting our Department Heads involved in the online capabilities and getting them away from paper, so it is a learning curve. Some of the potential employees have either had no issues onboarding and taking advantage of the online information, but a majority of our employees are not that computer savvy.
We have not taken advantage of these features or tools as of yet. Again, being the first year, we can look forward to returning employees and performance evaluations in the future, hopefully.
We swtiched from in-house payroll with our accounting software to investigate a payroll service. Paylocity and Paycom both have a similar in concept but we liked paylocity because of the cost and ala carte aspect. There are things that we did not want to start with and Paylocity doesn't charge for those other features until you want to get them cantrary to Paycom.

The ease of use and the ability to relieve us of the payroll processing. The onboarding is very beneficial to our organization as it has allowed potential employees to enter their own information as opposed to the paper we would have done in the past. The onboarding feature has been a blessing.
